@Starrunner
I think there is another way to get agfx card inside there without towering it. I think there is a card called Pixel64 that fits into the keyboard case fo the 1200.
If you dont mind not having the same resoultion, thee is the option of a scandoubler/scan convertor that makes Amigas output into VGA so that you can connect to a VGA monitor.
ANother option is to get a DCTV which is really an external Frame buffer that gives you apparently 16 million colors. I heard there is ahack that lets you run Workbench on a DCTV but it will be throgh composite out of the DCTV only, so you need a TV. I have the hacks somewhere on my harddrive.
Nevertheless...........DCTV is cool! it makes the Amiga think it is displaying only a 16 color picture but it outputs 16 million colors..............so that means any animation running in DCTV mode runs faster because Amiga thinks its 16 colors only.
Another option..........Get a Genlock with S-Video OUT and connect yout 1200 to a large S-Video TV or Projector..........and You will have an awesome setup. Personally I have a Projector with a built in Flicker Fixer.........so nothing flickers :-) I got it for about $700 then got a $200 rebate back...........so it cost me $500.
