Using a RTL8139 on Amithlon?

I have a RTL8139 and when im goin throught the setup on Miami it find my ip address and everything apart from my DNS i dont know what a DNS is and i would be very greatful if someone could help me out on getting my Amithlon PC to connect to the internet.

DNS is the Domain Name Server - it changes URL (web addresses) into IP addresses

In Miami if you are not using DHCP, you enter them into the Primary/Secondary Name Server string boxes along with the netmask and the IP address of your computer.

If the DNS are already listed in the router then you can use the router IP address as the primary DNS.

DNS IP address varies according to your ISP.

Is there a TCP/IP program thats only for ethernet cards?
