Creating CDROM for OS3.1
« on: November 06, 2007, 09:14:10 AM »
Hi there!

I have an almost useless question. Let's say I would like to burn a CDROM (full of data) to be read on an Amiga using the Commodore CD File System included in the OS3.1 (I don't rememeber if it was already in the 2.1/3.0).
Which flavours of ISO are supported by OS3.1?
I'd bet no Joliet. What about ISO level 1/2 ? What about Rockridge extensions and Amiga Rockridge extensions?
Which chars should I use for filenames? Should I limit directories depth?
Similarly, how should I create a CDROM for the CD32?

I know very well that there are much better CD filesystems available as freeware (I use CacheCDFS and Allegro), so don't reply just to say use them :-)

I am just curious to learn more about the OS3.1.
