Tulip and CommodoreONE
« on: July 12, 2003, 05:42:36 PM »
Recent news article suggested dutch company Tulip was not only relaunching commodore as a brand, but wud actively sue the 300 online sites making money out of the commodore name.

What does this mean for the CommodoreONE?

You'd have to ask Jeri or Jens. IIRC they were in negotiations with Tulip to officially use the name. IMO that doesn't look good now that Tulip are having hallucinations of a grand untapped market. What does it mean for selling it minus the name? Got me, only they could answer it. All I know is I want my C=1! :-x
Someone has to state the obvious and that someone is me!

Tulip should definately go with Jeri to make the C=1 official Commodore branded product, drop the PC + emulation idea.

Oh yeah I definatly want a C=1 too  :-)

It doesn't seem a bargain though. If it were half the price, I think there would be a lot more interest in the CommodoreOne unit.
