I sent Chris Hodges an email yesterday about Deneb (E3B Zorro III USB2.0 host adapter) and Poseidon.

I was only offering him an internal uUSB2.0 -> SATA adapter (I design them).

Wow.. hope that didnt trigger the closure of his site.

Maybe he got fed up of all the Hassle he gets about the Spider stuff.

As an aside, I always wondered why you were so vocal about USB on the MiniMig :-D

I truly hope he reconsiders, it is not fair that because one or two people pissed him the rest of the community will no longer have access to TLSFMem, which was a very cool project :-(

Whatever the reason this is just disastrous for the classic platform, I wonder if this also spells the end of the new Deneb USB card from E3B  :-(

No, the cause can be found on amiga-news.de

If you are fast, you may still get the comments before the moderators remove them, together with the news message which has already been removed from the main page.

It was a conflict with one certain user there. Read it on your own, while you can, and get your own opinion before speculating about the Spider issue or the WarpOS question.

At the moment I just follow the ongoing dicussion from Cyprus over a shaky conference WLAN network, and can't do anything.

The answer if the Deneb is affected by this issue is at this moment *open*. I simply can't answer it.

Ah ok, just got confused what with the news post the other day.

Unfortunately I only speak English and bad English, so I can't follow the discussion on amiga-news.de

Coming from experience I can tell ya when your generous toward others and then some wise A$$ cracks off his.her 2 1/2 cents..

Its likely he got frustrated, and the fact he was doing so much work for so little money or real gain lead him to use this person prob as an escape to say the bloody heck with all of this waste of my money and time...

Regardless if folks wanted it or not..

DOH !!!
