Hello from Brasil !
« on: October 25, 2007, 04:14:16 PM »
Hello everybody !

I´ve just signed for Amiga.org. I´m an electronic engineer from Sao Paulo, Brasil, and I work designing tracking systems for trucks.
I have an A1200 since 1992 that I´ve bought as soon as it was released. It is still unexpanded, unfortunately...

       Greetings to everybody,

               Marcelo

Greetings!  I'm on an oil rig off the coast of Macae in Brazil.  I wish I was back in Rio.

I have to fly through Sao Paulo when I travel back and forth from the USA, but they don't let me get off the plane.   :-)

No suprise - US Homeland Security has advised the Brazilian authorities you are an Amiga user, and even in Brazil they know about the Amiga Curse. :)

I think it is time you upgraded that A1200, don't you?  Go visit AmigaKit's website and order yourself an accelerator and extra RAM along with a wired, or wireless ethernet card for the PCMIA card slot.

 :-D
How are you helping the Amiga community? :)

 Oi (hi) Marcelo.

Bem vindo (welcome) ao (to the) clube (selftranslated ).

 Back to english:

Here you'll find very useful informations, links to information and help for software and hardware issues.

In Brazil we have a mail group: Amiga BR, actually managed from a guy named Marcelo, too.

In that group, like here, in the section "market", you can buy or trade Amiga parts.

Goodbye people.

I\'ll pop on from time to time, RL is acting up.

Hi,

Thanks everybody for the warm welcome !
Yeah, it is about time to make some upgrade in my A1200. I've been posponing this for quite a time. Maybe an accelerator for the next months.
I hope I could help a litle bit with the electronics issues here, as long as I could. My only big problem is time (I have twin girls, 2 and a half years old, and I'm still trying to find their turn off switch  :-D )
