The story about Merlancia
« on: October 24, 2007, 04:24:56 AM »
Hi,
can someone please explain what Merlancia was/is and the people behind it? I understand that the owner bought the Walker case design? Why?
Has it anything to do with Petro? If not, who is Petro then?

Scammers - just like AInc(W)/ITEC/KMOS/AInc(D).

The people behind are Ryan Czerwinski and his Mommy, Krystyna - appearently they're from Poland, as well as Prokom, AInc's main investor.

You should direct this question at Ryan Czerwinski...

Assuming you're talking about Petro Tyschtschenko - no, he is not related to Merlancia, as far as I know...

But, I thought I read somewhere that Petro stole a lot of computers?

@amiby

I think the idea was that he sold all the stock Amiga had for way less than it was worth. McEwen cited such a sale as one of the problems AI had in one of the recent letters, but I don't think he mentioned Petro. Although, from what I remember, it was Petro's job to sell that stuff. I don't remember anything about stealing.

I see. Well, it does not matter either I guess, I don't know the guy anyway. Just curious. The whole thing with the people from Poland is quite weird.

Uh, the logic in this thread is pretty awful. Lots of people are from Poland, and the fact that two American scammers trace their national ancestry to the same country as one of Amiga, Inc.'s investors means absolutely nothing whatsoever.

Here's a similar example: Escom was from Germany. You know who else was from Germany? HITLER.

C'mon, guys, this is insane.

Merlancia and the kid Count can be described, but I don't think it all can ever, ever be explained :-/

LOL
I see what you are talking about.

Seriously.
Let me just say that I have NOTHING AGAINST people from Poland. It came out wrong. I was trying to make a refence to the company Merlancia.
