Smart File system install woes.
« on: October 20, 2007, 03:33:21 PM »
OK, I decided to upgrade my filesystem to SFS.

GREAT! well sorta. I have a 6gig drive in my A1200. I followed the instructions for installing it to the T.

I can see my 2gig workbench partition this works fine and boots etc. However, my DH1: "Programs" drive is not mounted. It is set to automount and is configured the same as the boot drive option wise but it wont show!

If I swap it back to FFS it then works ok!

Please help as this is the drive I really want to install and use it on.

Cheers.

Stu

what do you mean by ''T''?
you must install it in the rdb of your drive.

@amije

to the "T"  is a saying here in USA that means "He did it exactly as described in the manual to perfection and then some"

it's a saying.  "I did it to the "T"

Don't know where it came from though and why a letter "T" hehe
CD32 is actually the best Amiga ever made by Commodore!...

Phrase "To a T" or "To a tee" or "To a tea"

Origin unknown, possibly from golf.

Meaning: Sharp, accurate, precise.

"That describes him to a tee"
"I followed the intructions to a tee"
"Dressed to a tee"

Possibly connected to the phrase "dotting the I's and crossing the T's".
