First you have to charge up your karma by humping my leg or sending me an '040 or '060 A1200 trapdoor accelerator...

Then a magic fairy will appear and give you this link...

See my first post in this thread.

The device RW222 linked to looks pretty cool (reasonably priced anyhow), *if* the VGA input isn't simply a pass-through.

Get a minimig :)

It has a scan doubler built into its core.
A4000D - CSMKII//128MB/IDE CF/Indivision Scandoubler
A1200
A1000

(And now a Minimig) :>)

Yes it does, and with games but it sucks ass and is over priced.

It has only analog CVBS (or S-Video) input and 16-bit output so the quality is HORRIBLE.

You need an RGB one to have even tolerable quality.

Since scan doublers/flicker fixers are so rare :(

If you mean the brand Monster Cable. Save your money they are not worth it at all. Just get a decent shieled cable and you will be just as happy with the output.

Somebody also mentioned once that this will work also instead of a scandoubler:

Can't say if it will or won't... I haven't tried it...

It wont.

That is a HDTV component to VGA converter!

This RGB to VGA adapter from the same place WILL work but at £99 it is overly expensive.

Only s-video input? And then, 89 dollar?
What a lousy deal, really. For that price it should also support RGBS.
I got my e-tech TV box for app. 40 euros, and it has the same functionality plus it has a tv tuner.

Hi,

As hamtronix said: eBay. I have bought a few from there, but be prepard to pay (80-100 quid +). Also try amibench  www.amibench.org

I got a Micronik SD (no FF) internal from an ad on there. The plain SD's can sometimes be a lot cheaper. With Hires No Flicker mode (dblPal driver I think) WB looks great. Load games via WHDLoad and you are all set.

I currently have this setup with a 4GB SD card and an 030 which makes for a sweet gaming machine.

Overly expensive? That's about the price an old Amiga external SD/FF seem to sell for on ebay. And You would get a warranty. Expensive, yes, but probably the only way to get a SD/FF immediately, at least if you can make the required Amiga-to-converter cable.
