Frogger still available?

Hi everyone!

Anybody know if there's a way to register frogger or at least contact the author? Through the frogger site the reg link is broken and I tried to email him thru the listed email but no reply (it's been a month). Any ideas/help? Thanks!

there is a forum. a yahoogroups forum. It is called TVision I think. I used to give bug reports there.

I dont think you can post on the amigagroups one, its just for announcements.

I've tried the yahoo group, but still no answer from the admin of the group to my request to reg me....seems like the guy has abandoned everything about frogger....I'll keep searching tho....

There was reports the frogger author wasn't replying to emails from as far back as 2-3 years ago! I think it's safe to conclude he has now completely abandoned this program.

An other alternative is to buy MooVID PRO 2 from Vesalia

thx for the info, I already have that, but I need a wmv/rv/mpg player for classic miggy and frogger's the only one (that I know of) that has good support for fairly recent incarnations of these formats.

I know he is still taking registrations.  I registered Frogger like March of this year.

I paid through regnet.com.  3-4 days later I got a keyfile.

This is what I found out:

There's a thread about Frogger on Polish forum:
 Post n.16 refers to the email address of the FroggerNG author.
Post n.26 informs that the answer came from this email (yay!) where the FroggerNG author said he's unable to generate the keyfiles because he has no Amiga hardware anymore.

Maybe this is the good reason to suggest him to use the WinUAE and to generate some more keyfiles. Maybe he can consider to revive the development if asked nicely. It's worth a try.

Just to let you know that the Frogger author hasn't contacted me back to the email address suggested above :/

Too bad, it seems he's not even checking that account anymore......so no more regged Frogger I guess, which is sad

I have another problem i have a keyfile from a older version but can not get it to work with FroggerNG even though readme says it should.. Anyways tried to email him a few weeks back to ask about this or even possibility for new key but no word yet...
