Seeing as the SharkPPC will be a PCI card, would it be possible to have AOS4 running on it using an x86 CPU and motherboard?

It would be neat if you could add a few of these to an A1/Peg for multiprocessing. Seeing as how each one would be separated from the others by a PCI bridge though, don't know how practical that would be.

Our private talks to persons related to Hyperion indicate that adaptation of the AOS4 system for AmigaOne for the needs of SharkPPC cards should not take them more than several days.

Oh man... they trusted a Hyperion time estimate? Are they crazy or what!?  :-D

yes, something doesn't seem right, this goes back to the, 'but my vendor told me something', and it's not my fault excuse every company around here uses for their failures....right now Elbox doesn't have a solid commitment, and they should know it...somehow they don't.

And, then the other funny thing, that I could never quite understand...Amiga, Inc. says they never got a dime for Amithlon, never a dime for OS 3.9, never a dime for OS 3.5, presumably not a dime off Kickstart sales,  Amiga Forever sales don't seem to show up anywhere....

Certainly they don't have any money from AmigaONE sales....in fact, they go into court all the time, saying they don't have any money at all.

I naturally ASSUME then that the deal with Microsoft was a no money deal, and that they never got a dime from Game pak sales, and they certainly couldn't have made any money from AmigaDE sales.

It seems they don't get any money from anything, but you ask all their partners about licensing, and they say, Amiga asks for too much money.

*shrug*

but, I won't go there....more....

time to start developing again...(well next week I'll have my pegasos set-up...)  I do hope that the SharkPPC comes out sometime with OS 4 support.

I guess Gateway gets the Amiga Forever licence money, assuming it wasn't one large upfront licence.

Since Gateway actually own the Amiga IP, and Amiga Only licence (albeit free, AFAIK) it themselves.
