Amiga friendly printers
« on: October 10, 2007, 01:43:58 PM »
I finally found a printer that works extremely well with my Amiga setup.  Its a Dell 1700 Laser printer and I'm using the "HP 6P" driver in AOS 3.9.  It gives me perfect output every time.  In the past I had tried Brother printers, Canons, Printeks, and Casios...none of which worked exactly right.  The Dell 1700 is actually a Lexmark but I'm not sure which model.  I'm curious what printers other people have had success with getting to work well with Amiga systems?
Primary:
A4000T. Phase5 PPC604e-233mhz/060-66mhz. Mediator, Z3 Fastlane, Voodoo5, Delfina, X-Surf, AD516, Peggy Plus.

Collection:
A4000D, A1200, A500, Milan060 (Atari clone), Atari MegaSTE, Atari TT030, C64, C128, Mattel Aquarius, (2) HP Jornada....

I'm successfully using a Canon BJC 250 on my 1200, not a single problem with it.

I've downloaded the drivers from aminet, BTW.
Goodbye people.

I\'ll pop on from time to time, RL is acting up.
