Buddha Install Questions
« on: October 05, 2007, 02:47:11 AM »
I'm having a hard time with the buddha. I popped a 40gb drive into the A4000 but when making partitions i'm not sure how to set it up.. the manual says "HDtoolbox compatible.."

Anyone have a guide or suggestions? I'm trying to keep the partition just under 2gb. How high up can I go? Can I used  the whole 40GB or what?.. I'm trying to spread the partitions out a little so they dont overwrite each other...

Also is there a way to connect the LED on the front of the 4k to the buddha board??

thanks for any info...

for larger aprtitions you will need also filesystem wchich can handle it. piece of cake with os3.9

and for led thingy, ive solved it with one 7404 and resistor :)

EDIT:
scratch that with led, ive done it in a3000 which is another story.
you just need to connect led connector to buddha, there are two, each for one ide channel.

btw its a great piece of hardware
too lazy to use shift key properly...
