Fishy indeed. I can smell it even here, across the ocean :-)

Yeah
Played with it a little now selling it.
It's a headache trying to figure out how to get the bigger HD to work.
And to be honest I bought it for not a bad price and am looking at making a profit. So all your senses and fish smell I could care less about.
You want to accuse me of something drive on over here and check it out.

He's free to do what he likes with his Amiga. If someone wants to throw $700+ at him for it then that's their lookout. Shame it was not offered to the community first but then if money is your motivator, you can't blame someone for going to Ebay. Get a couple of shills to help and you can easily rake in some serious cash.

Personally, for the future I'd suggest people think twice about offering any help/items for free/cheap to someone if all you end up doing is helping someone make a large profit at the expense of the Amiga community.

Now in true Criswell fashion I predict the following forum post in 1 week: "Hey everyone, I just got an 4000T and can't get it to recognize the large hard drive. Please help!"

My paperwork says no mention of it being called a quickpac? It calls it a A4000T-060/040 accelerator.

But thanks for the info I think ;)

Also just found a Imsai 8080 for $200.00 it's on it's way here. All these computers where offered to me at the same time from 2 different people and it kind of put me in the hole. Shipping killed me and I couldn't afford to even ship the terminal and disk drives for the Imsai. So now I must get some of my money back.
If the T dosn't sell I will be selling the 4000/030 I also got from the same guy.

Well it's probably one of these. QuikPak manufactured most Escom 4000Ts and that was the board they included for the 060 configuration.

I see nothing wrong w/reselling something like that or with the auction.  I always put it works and sold as is because some idiot thinks a warranty goes along with a old computer like the Amiga.  Hey it works here, if it blows up on you two weeks later or two months later you should expect it.. ITS OLD!

EDIT:
but I try to be as descriptive as possible if there is a problem..because it does suck to buy something and it has issues not listed in the auction.
