Cocolino Problem
« on: September 19, 2007, 08:58:11 AM »
Hi

Yesterday evening, i discovered a strange behaviour of my cocolino adapter and/or driver.
Suddenly the right mouse  button no longer showed up the menu, the left button works as expected.
In order to find out whats going on, i connected my original Amiga mouse -> menu appears as it should (which means, that the mouse port itself is ok).
Then switched back to cocolino adapter and stopped the cocolino driver.
What should i say, the right mouse button worked again (but of course no more middle button and wheel).
So whats going on here ?
if i start cocolino driver, no menu. If i stop cocolino driver, i do have the menu function ??????
Is my adapter defective ?
Hope someone can help

I had similar problem with my homebrew mouse adapter. it looks like your cocolino is dying.

There are overload on IC output which causes death of PIC chip after some time. Ive solved it with two invertors as "amplifier"
too lazy to use shift key properly...

just for pin 9 (RMB) it goes to paula and not to cia
(maybe thats also reason of dying PICs, just speculating)
