Genesis with orange router/livebox

Sorry as some of you will know i was asking the same question earlier this year but after my hard drive crashed i have just managed to get a few things working again.

So now i'm currenty trying to configure genesis so i can get my amiga online but so far i have had no success.

I have used the ip address "192.168.1.2" for the amiga and the gateway set to "192.168.1.1" but whenever i try and load a page on ibrowse i get the following message,host lookup failed,no DNS entry found.

Now i have done this in the past and had it all sorted out but i can no longer remember what to do esp with the gateway/dns as i have tried using my ip number and what not.

Can you access the router by entering 192.168.1.1 in the address bar of IBrowse? If not:
1. Check or otherwise verify the cables are good
2. Refer to the router manual - see what the default address is - maybe it's 192.168.0.1 ?
3. Hmm... check back later for a bette answer from a more knowledgable (sp?) person - like Thomas.

Just as you had replied i got it working lol i keep forgeting that you actually have to go over to "resolv" tab and then on the doman name server lol all done now.
