Hi,

I'm an Amiga user from New Zealand...... what is the deal with softhut.com? Do they actually have all the stuff on their site in stock? They have Blizzards, AmigaOne mobos etc on their site. I e-mailed them but got no response.

Chris.

I emailed them once and got a response eventually.  They only had a 030 combo board for an A2000. I already had one of those. I think you will find a bit on eBay from time to time. Especially over the water here in Aus. You can also post a "want to buy" but I cant remember how to do that.

All the best with the Amiga. They are nice machines.

PS: Never been to Auckland but Ive been to Welli and luved it.

Yeh nz seems to have alot of amiga users,
MY mate down the road from sold me it cheap. he has like 15 amiga's  he has 4 amiga 1200's and a towered one and a spare 030 he might wanna sell its a 030/33mhz with 16meg ram if you keen i can ask him. let me know. trademe always has cool stuff though there seems to be couple hardout amiga users on there out bidding people with lots cash lol . ..

My first amiga back in 1990 was 500+ i love those amiga's need to pick my self up anther one it had 2.04 rom workbench was nice on it for a 500 had the yellow workbench tabs, only problem i found lots old games didnt work and when i was young that really pissed me off lol found out years later theres a program called softkick or something that lets you boot back to 1.3rom lol ohh well

Yeah I would be keen on an 030 anyday, be cool if you could ask him. I check Trademe occasionally but like you say, most the good/rare Amiga stuff goes for prices too high for me.

500+ was my first amiga too, and hah yeah I had the same problem - getting games from my friends with 500s and them not working on the 500+. We were too young to ever work out why..

Greetings... I used to live there many years ago in Takapuna... I really miss the place. I wonder how much it has changed since 1979...

I'm just going to get a new piece cut out for the back of a case I have, should be simple enough. I might ask for the wiring diagrams sometime, haven't found too much info about using the PC PSU.

The 8MB card that was on Trademe got taken down by the seller :( There is an 060 on eBay at the moment I saw before, GBP 359 though!
