Just spotted this in the EW mag...

Main A1200D: WB3.0, 3.1 ROMs, 2GB HDD, Blizzard 1230IV (64MB RAM + FPU) and a whole load of custom heatsinks... :flame:

Can anybody get a data sheet on this proc? I heard of it two weeks ago but couldn't dig anything up. I've heard from a few places the cores are mips like.

This thing has a strong resemblance to Chuck Moore's 25x misc proc from awhile ago. As far as the architecture goes, it's not anywhere new, but i've never seen this design pattern actually produced before on a single die. (somebody is gonna bust me on this I just know it)

I sure hope we don't have some cell fan boys post about how great cell is on this thread considering the architecture is totally different, though I see it coming.

There’s a kind of datasheet / advertising flyer as a PDF link at the top right of the page. Seems to have some technical specs in it.

If we had 64 Amigas Parnetted together... wouldnt that be '64 core'...
CD TV / Remote / Trackball Remote / Keyboard / CDTV 1411 External Drive / C= 1405 256K RAM / Smell the fear!
