What's the latest on the court case?
« on: August 20, 2007, 08:58:45 PM »
Topic says it all really...haven't seen anything on the forum for ages about the Amiga inc. VS Hyperion case.

Does anyone know what's going on out there?

Does anyone care any longer???

Yawn!!!

I guess I would care more if any of them were actually producing something I wanted to buy, but they aren't and I would be willing to bet that they won't produce anything I will be interested in this year (and probably the next, and the next......).

After reading about both sides actions, I have no respect for either of them.
How are you helping the Amiga community? :)

But surely a widespread release of OS4 would be a good thing at the moment its impossible to get a hold of a copy, i for one hope for a speedy solution.

Yeah Hyperion could just go ahead and release it and blow all the profits on the court case

Thanks for the information everyone. The thing is I really wanted to get one of the Valhalla games from the Amiga website (did anyone figure out what this "Amiga player" thing is yet?) but because of all the shady buisness practices Amiga inc. have been involved in I dont want to support them - that's a sad situation isn't it?

That's when the Judge made it official by signing it.  Probably gave verbal agreement while waiting for paperwork and the Judge's vacation to be over with.  Basically it's just a formality of written order, verbal "OK" from the Judge would be enough to allow the extention to be executed.

They are waiting for the September release of Sam 440 board. Then they will have surprise announcement for release of O.S. 4.0. All the kiddies will be waiting at Best Buy and Office Depot for the midnight release. All those people waiting in the lines, just waiting to get a glimpse. I bet they will be scalpers on Ebay and such. Get there early.  :roflmao:
