Hi, y'all

Hi, I'm Arnljot Arntsen.

I was an amiga user back when the A500 was hot, and I was too young to have pimples in my face. Today I'm 30 (soon 31, sept07) and use WinUAE (Amiga Forever package) and AmigaKit(proud donator :-D).

My first console was the Atari 2600

Next up was something called the Atari XE

Then followed the Amiga 500. This amiga was a KS1.3 machine, I expanded it with an 512K memory and clock. And also a GVP HD8+ with 2MB Ram and a 90MB SCSI disk. I also used a 1983s monitor (or was it a 1984? dunno...)

I had this machine from the mid 80s (I bought it early in norway, soon after its norwegian release), until the A1200 was released. The A500 with it's perhiperals was sold to a kid at my school, and I bought an A1200 with a 120MB disk.

This machine got expanded with an blizzard030 and 8MB of ram. I used the old A500 monitor with it.

When I began highscool in '97 I bought a used A4000, this got equipped with a multisynch monitor, CSPPC 204e/060, CVPPC, Prelude, Buddha, Ariadne II, hypercom 3+, a 9GB UWSCSI3 Quantum fireball, a Scsi scanner and a SCSI CDRW, 128MB Ram and various IDE drives.

I bought a lot of software too, but too much to list.

I sold my A4000 in '98 or '99, but it got broken in transport, I had to take it back and sent it to repairs with Datakomaniet and Phase5. Some weeks after it had gone to P5 they went bust, and I considered my gear lost. It got repaired, but I never saw it again...

I went on to a G3 iMac, and later to Wintels.

I recently got an A500 from a friend, and now I'm back :)

I'm a WinUAE user, and I dream of getting a linux setup with a guick and snappy amiga os on it.

I want both MorphOS and OS4, I'm not going to discuss who'll be here first ;-) But the Efika looks like a lot of fun.

This is my one and only contrib on aminet :-)

Hello Sir.

Glad you could contribute to Aminet.

I myself generally prefer the classic scene. WinUAE seems to be a good compromise these days though.

I, of course, prefer AROS as my OS.

I really like the looks of AROS, and I really consider donating to it too. But before I dive into it, I think this bounty should be collected first ;-)
UAE integration (basic/initial), surly this is a nice bounty for a capable amiga/aros/uae programmer?

Hi,

Yea a bit like me 30 also, I started on the TI-99/4A that belonged to a friend of my fathers. Progressed there to the CPC 464 (progressed? lol) and then the Back to the future pack   A500. I still have my original A500 and that 99er , but I just bought a 1200 on ebay along with a 030 50mhz blizzard both of which have yet to arrive.  Looking forward to setting it up.
