Setting up a HDD on winuae

Is anyne able to give me a step by step guide on doing this or point me in the direction of one?

It seems I always manage to f*ck it up and am not really sure where I am going wrong.

Thanks it helped loads.

The problem I have now is every time I leave WINUAE the drive seems to dissapear.

If anyone could help i'd be really grateful, the guide above was great thanks.

However now I can install my HDD but when I switch my computer off the HDD mysteriously dissapears the next time I boot up WINUAE.
