PC Floppy Drive on Amiga
« on: August 09, 2007, 06:46:22 PM »
Hello!

I've recently tested several PC floppy drives (old and new) on Amiga. Some worked and some not.
Since it is an interesting matter for many people, I've taken pictures to show the right jumper settings of drives that have been successfully recognized by Amiga. So, I've build a webpage with a list, pictures, notes and external links.

You can reach the page from my website.

I hope you enjoy it!

Alex

I grab a Y-e data floppy, convert pins 2 x 34, set the unit to DS0 and it works!

The model is YD 702D 6037D.

BTW: I removed the HD and 2HD switches so the unit is now a "true" Amiga DD floppy unit. :-D
Goodbye people.

I\'ll pop on from time to time, RL is acting up.
