Hi there,

I am really interested in buying both the cards the Bppc and the Bvision. Please let me know how much you are expecting A.S.A.P.

Is that a Blizzard PPC 603e or a BLizzard 1260? I didnt know DCE made the ppc version of the BLizzard....

Cheers

It´s a BlizzardPPC 603e 210MHZ and 68060/50 from DCE with revision 2.

I have the same card. DCE actually used 160Mhz 603e cpus and overclocked them to 210mhz.

I thought 400 Euros or 550 US $ for the full working BlizzardPPC 060, 603e 210 MHZ.

Is this why they have a reputation for being less reliable.

@Rob:

Partly, as they also don't have the standard cooler/heatsink setup (like Phase 5 cards) designed to cool down the rest of the chips on board besides the 603e. On my card, I've also installed mini heatsinks on other chips, just to make sure that they are properly cooled.

Other than that, the card is a rev. 2, which is important if you plan to use Grex1200 with it.

I had a similar DCE bppc. real 60mhz 060 and 200mhz 603e (not 210...) no scsi. It was working PERFECT with G-Rex1200 and was rock solid!
