maybe he's innocent, and it simply failed to pass it's MILSPEC testing...

sorry to hear that, what kind of issues do you have to have to take someones money and then act like some kind of stupid child (at best) when they have the sheer audacity to expect the goods they gave you money for  :-?
I\'m back and I brought bacon.

I've always had positive experiences except when I sold an A2630 accelerator to 23703james. I had tested it before shipping and it worked fine. It was sold as-is, no warranty however.

He got it and said it didn't work but I was out of town and didn't respond to his message until the next day. He already left me negative feedback ( my first negative) before even talking to me. I ended up refunding all his money even though I didn't have to and the best we could do was remove feedback but in my opinion that looks about as bad as negative. I also let him keep the card. I keep wondering if I'll see that card for sale on ebay though since I know it was working before shipping and I tend to over-package.

A good while back I bought an a2000 from domy and he didn't ship the machine. We got into the arbitration process, and he of course sent me many nasty, foul emails saying things about my mother and this and that. He finally shipped the machine, when I opened it up it appeared he had taken a hammer to it's insides. ICs shattered, pcb full of holes, etc. He even scratched "f*ck you" on the inner surface of the case. Dude must have jammed a screw driver in the floppy drive a few times, total whack-o

I think I would have notified authorities and sued him for that one.  It's not too late you know.

I just tossed it in the trash. Suing people of a few hundred dollars just makes lawyers money and wastes your time, and the authorities just don't have the time to spend on piddly things like this.

Well, good point, but at the least I would have made his life difficult somehow, like for instance taking a picture of it, and starting an auction for $1000 (so noone buys it) with a label on the photo saying "THIS IS WHAT DOOMY SENT ME. BEWARE.".

I would do that monthly until the end of time or my account was killed. heh.

I dont understand why would he put an A2000 on auction if he would not want to ship it later on?

Probably procrastination. "I'll ship it tomorrow", day rolls around, "i'll ship it tomorrow". Why do people let the laundry pile up, let the fridge get nasty or put off mowing the lawn? I paid immediately, and waited weeks to get it in. He got ticked off when I went for arbitration. Some people just suck.

Not just on ebay.

"I'll ship it tomorrow" ....AInc should use this as a company motto.

I bought a "genuine A590 power supply ! Very hard to find  !!"..  Thats what the eBay ad said.

I only had a converted A500 pwr supply on my A590 so I got it at only $30 AU a good price..

It turned up...  you guessed it,  a converted A500 power supply.  When I quizzed the guy he basically replied:
How was he to know it wasn't genuine!, but it works and it's your bad luck.
I had asked the question on the listing but he didn't reply.  His ID was private.. Yes my bad.. Should have been a warning to me.

It took a week of back and forth but when I threatened arbitration he agreed to give me a discount of $15.00.
Then another week and a bit passed and another threat before the money appeared in my account.

Yes its hardly worth it for $15 but people who obviously take advantage of others need to be pulled up.  I don't see him on ebay any more..(at least by his old name)
