cyberstorm mk11 dil socket
« on: August 07, 2007, 03:49:20 PM »
on my cyberstorm mk11 the oscillator is shorter compared to others i have seen. on the BBoAH the oscillator is longer.
i want to take of my oscillator and put in a dil socket so i can overclock the cpu. Does it matter if i use the longer or shorter dil/oscillator because the feet are soldered in differnt spots on the pcb?

No difference at all. A crystal is a crystal is a crystal (poetic, huh?).

Goodbye people.

I\'ll pop on from time to time, RL is acting up.

Yet an oscillator is not a crystal is not an oscillator... *SCNR*  ;-)
