Is it .DMS?  A DMS file is a compressed disk, kind of like an ADF file.  If you grab XDMS from the net and shove it in your path in windoze then you can select it as a disk in WinUAE (don't know about other versions).  Or you could download a tiny program for the  real Amiga to put it on real disks.  That's all assuming it is DMS :-D

Abandonware is no legal term. It is still illegal.

I beg to differ. True Abandonware is software that the producer has agreed to be available as a free download. without their concent though, its illegal.

In most cases abandonware is made available without the consent of the producer. Back2roots for example is not an abandonware site.

No problem, just remove the link. You can PM it to the people who want it. I have no real problem with spreading old games; but it's for your own good I say this, since I don't want you banned. The Amiga.org post guidelines say:

ยท Do not post links or requests for warez.
Warez in our definition is illegal software up to and including "abandonware". The exception is if the person is KNOWN to have the legal right to distribute said software. This is not debatable.
