I am truly surprise that Bill would embarrass himself and the company by showcasing how bad Amiga has kept its promises.

I studied business in school and as of yet, I cannot figure out what his strategy is.

Somebody who's business plan is based around trying to exploit the name of dead company (which has been zombie-resurrected and re-killed several times over now) doesn't strike me as the world's next Bill Gates or Donald Trump (except perhaps in the annoying ways).

How much is the entire AI company even worth for that matter, anyway?

Probably negative a few hundred thousand dollars once you factor in attorney fees, what they owe people like Bolton Peck, etc.

The one (ONE) thing Hyperion can say it has over Amiga, Inc. is that they're probably worth more financially.  that's it, though.  They're certainly as ...

well I'm not going to go there right now.

Anyway, five gets you ten McEwen will try to stall for time claiming that their current court situation has caused the delay.

Based on stock sales, AI(D) is worth about $93M, why its worth that much, you'll have to ask the people that actually bought into the company in the last couple of years.

Hyperion has significantly bigger debts then AI(D), and about to get a bunch more when the lawsuits are over, so no Hyperion isnt better off financially.

I would say the opposite.  AI does have IP it can show it bought for millions that it owns.  Hyperion is so far indebt, there is no way possible for them to pay their subcontractors since OS4 is now completed.  Hyperion is deep in the red and nothing to pull them out of it.  Nadda.

Amiga fails to deliver cash, loses naming rights to Kent arena

Quote
The city of Kent dumped tech company Amiga as naming-rights sponsor for the city's planned hockey arena after the company failed to deliver a promised down payment Monday.

...

By Monday evening, the deal was off, and city officials said they would look for a new sponsor.

"Clearly, there is a disappointment based on what Amiga could have brought to the table," said Kent Mayor Suzette Cooke, who earlier had touted Amiga as a global technology leader that would make Kent a "leading technology hub."

...
Amiga's acting president, Bill McEwen, declined to comment Monday.
