Semi-Custom Case for Minimig?
« on: July 29, 2007, 03:50:28 PM »

We have several case projects going

We really like what Dennis has done with Minimig, and we would like to add our     support for the project!

This would be a “build it yourself” type case project.   We can workout some templates etc. for fitting the Minimig board produced into the case…the rest would be up to the Amiga hobbyist.

What might the Cost be like?  We are talking about a set of plastic parts, (decent keyboard IMHO) power supply etc.  So very roughly we are talking about the price you might pay for a high end keyboard.

We first need to gage the interest in this case project before progressing further. After that we come down to the case color Black or white/crème.   Right now I’m leaning towards the white/crème as you can paint, decal etc. to you own custom taste.

Your thoughts?

Looks nice, I'd love to buy a minimig in one of these, even with some self assembly. Rick.

B..bu...but I always thought that you intended to reserve the Cybernet ZPC-9000 case for Amy? (although it doesn't fit in)

On another note, maybe you should consider changing your nick if you expect that people take you seriously.

As long as you're not using the Optimus  Maximus as a reference point.

Sorry your off topic, we are talking about a case for Minimig.

At least you could give a link http://cybernetman.com/Default.cfm?DocID=9000

I'll let the community look-see the ample room inside the case design,  and see if they are interested or not?   :-)

No thanks, thinking of just the standard keyboard.  However, no reason you couldn't install whatever keyboard you wish.  :-D
