I just got done with an order for 3.1 ROM and WB disks. They sent it quickly and with some personal emails back and forth. The installer disk had some bad sectors an di emailed them today and they responded ASAP. They seem on top of it to me. Try calling them. Who knows with email.

Only bad experience I've had is that many of the items they have listed are no longer available, and they dont think they ever will be available again. But if they told you something is available and they took your money, you should get the order before too long.

Its a small shop, be patient with them.

I ordered an A1200 from them, back in 2000. It came with a faulty workbench disk. After weeks of no response, it took me emailing Big Mac to get them to ship me a replacement. I don't order from them, anymore.

Good luck with that.  :-?

Never had a problem with them. And, I ordered alot from them in the mid 90's.

I just ordered and got some ZIP ram for my A3000. It took 3 days with the lowest cost shipping which is great in my book.

Like some others have said, you have to email them for availability before you order. And, I always ask for the shipping number.

hi Friend:

I had a good experience with software hut.
I ordered a few things from them..and they were nice plus responded promptly. I got the items they sent me, namely
a 16 mb gvp ram memory for my a1200 and a 2.1 gig hd.
The items came in like new condition and did not have to wait long. My a1200 now is better, with the hdd and ram.
my two cents...

I've used softhut MANY times, I have never had a problem, and want to support a local (USA) company.  I hope they get things right for you.

Going back to mid to early 90s, I did have some issues with Softhut.  Today, I can't remember what the issue was anymore, but I still remember the lady's attitude.  I'd never do business with them again.

I've dealt with them since the mid 90's (dozens of orders) and have never had a problem.  Just make sure through email or the telephone that they have the item you seek before ordering or paying.  Not too long ago I ordered and received some software for using a digital camera with my A4000.  He didn't have it in stock but he found somebody else who did and acted as the middle man in the transaction.  He didn't have to go through the hassle and time doing this on a small order but he gladly did.

I've been working with Softhut since the early 90s when you ordered from a magazine ad!  Do I wish the website was updated more, you bet.

Never had an issue with anything that I ordered that was in-stock.  Perhaps the t-shirt business is overwhelming them...

They used to be top notch but lately every time I send an email with a question I get no response.

Order from Amikit if you can. They are by far the best these days.
