Crom, Steve, and the wild one are great logos.  A logo should look good in just two colors (for t-shirts, etc).

Please lets not use ANIMALS,CHECKERED BALLS, or CHECK MARKS.  Come up with something ORIGINAL! It's not 1995 anymore!

cv643 has an awesome one too... maybe make it just a little more readable.. and it would look awesome as a t-shirt.

I agree. What a joke. Surely you can do better?

I guess you Americans with your Blonde-Dennis-the-Menace don't get the REAL (original) Dennis I used!

@Turambar

my thoughts exactly! :D

I have some years of experience in logotype/brand/C.I. design now and I must say THOSE are the only rules that always work! ;)

And now... think I'm gonna put some ideas down on paper! ;D

Here's a throwback (somewhat) for those of you who voted for the tick in the recent poll.  :idea:
Amiga 3000D UP and running! Hear that clicking. 8)
Amiga 3000D & 4000D in storage sadly.

@Turambar
Good link, but one rule make me want to strangle the guy:

Quote

I ALWAYS design my logos in Adobe Illustrator.

Any logo, even one for a Web site, needs to be scaled for different use. Designing a logo in Photoshop leaves you with a ceiling you may not be able to live with later on. Designing your logo in Illustrator also allows you to “break it apart” and use the pieces in other aspects of the client’s work. It gives you flexibility in how it’s used (outdoor, ads, multi-media, etc.) and keeps it easy to edit later.

ehehe.. though I presume you can translate it to:
ALWAYS design your logos in vector graphics

From a copytheft point of view I'm kinda worried about the slogan: "Amiga in an FPGA".

Sure it's good to explain to the man in the street what it's all about. But to be exact I think it should be changed to:

"UAE in an FPGA". It's more accurate (as its exactly what Minimig is), it goes with the GNU spirit (as part of the core is based on UAE) and I'm sure Toni Wilen wont sue minimig since it should be allowed based on the lisence, or will you sue minimig Toni W? :)

I like this. It keeps the roots of the Amiga and looks pretty good.

I think this by  Loriano AKA TheDaddy is the closest so far:

And this by ACube systems isn't too bad, but a bit cluttery:
