3D Game Trapped I, II, and III
« on: June 26, 2003, 04:35:20 PM »
On various Amiga cover CD's I've got demos of a promising 3D game called Trapped. I have demos of Trapped I, II, and III, but I've NEVER seen the games available to buy, or read a review which says where to buy them from.

Were these games ever released? They looked quite promising from the demos! Where can I buy or download them? Anyone know if they're any good?

Steve.

I have the full version of Trapped 2. The engine was brilliant, considering the hardware it ran on, but unfortunately the game itself was rubbish.

I have Trapped I and II on CD.  Trapped II works with Picasso96, but not with CGFX. :(

Conclusion: For the moment I can't play them on my Pegasos.  I wasn't overall thrilled with them on my A4000-060 so I was hoping that a little extra speed might help it along. :(

Not sure if I'll keep them.

Hmmm, wasn't there picasso96 emulation library for cgx.. It's been long time, but I'd remember that I used with some Trapped game.

To play the game you will require any Amiga with 2Mb RAM, an CD-ROM drive and 15MB HD space.

Don't believe that one bit :-D  Those certainly don't look like OCS graphics or suitible for a 7Mhz 68000.

Certainly not, if Legends of Valour on the A500 was anything to go by!!!

So does anyone know where I can buy Trapped 2?
I'm assuming that Trapped 3 never got finished?

I've got Trapped I.  I wouldn't call it FPS, it's more like FPA (First Person Adventure).  It plods along a bit.  I think I got to Level 7 ages ago, but I haven't got that saved.  I think I got stuck there.

Just dug out part 2, think I'll see how horrible it was again. :)
