Greetings from Holland
« on: July 20, 2007, 10:57:14 PM »
Hello all,

I'd like to introduce myself on this site. I am Egon from Holland and the reason of my signup is that I want to reactivate my Amiga life.

This ended when both of my harddisks didn't work anymore :headwall: so I kept all my Amigas on a safe place...

Today I noticed that both of my Amiga 1200 (one normal model and one built in an E/Box tower) were still working.

A question: only my disk drive doesn't work in the tower. I tried several things, and both the cable and the disk drive are working. There is a free cable in the tower, which should fit in the disk drive. But this cable has two wires and connection, and my drive has four. I am afraid I'll blow things up when connecting this cable... can anybody assist me?

Second of all: I apologise of my funny bad-*ss English... feel free to correct me :)

Best regards,

Egon

@Weirdami,

Not sure what !!= means ?

Anyway, off topic but Holland is a province of the Netherlands, 2 actually North and South Holland.

For the english dudz:

This applies for more people.
If you keep an eye on the Commodore-GG website, you will regular read announcements about the meetings in Maarsen (Utrecht, Holland).
There you can get a whole lot of information and parts.

I have been there, and I have experienced that.
A1200,int. HD 250MB + ext. HD 2 GB SCSI
Blizzard 1230 Phase IV+SCSI 64 MB RAM
Yamaha PSR-540 + CASIO MT-640

Hi Egon,

Hope you enjoy your Miggies. As you can see, there are still some Dutchies around overhere.... :-)
Life sucks. Then you die. Then they throw mud in your face. Then you get eaten by worms. Be happy it happens in that order... My Amiga 1200
