Need help with CGFX CybervisionPPC installation

Hi guys,

I have some issues with a CybervisionPPC card.

I have installed a CyberstormPPC card in an A4000 and installed the drivers "Cyberstorm Systemdisk" from http://phase5.a1k.org/index.php?id=0 .

The PPC card is tested and working. I have also flashed the card with the 1999 "FlashUpdate" from the same page to be able to run the graphics board.

What should I install next to get the CybervisionPPC card to work? Should I do a straight CGFX install V4 from the CD I have or should I install "CyberGraphX V3"  from http://phase5.a1k.org/index.php?id=3 and then upgrade it to the latest rev?

Right now the graphics card is showing "hires" 4-color output in early startup (and it did the same in Workbench before I installed CGFX4) but when I installed CGFX4 from the CD I got no option in the screenmode selector for CvisionPPC and the system can not find the graphics board, tried to reinstall CGFX4 but the same problem.

Need some input, I am confused after some hours of troubleshooting  :crazy:

Install cgx4 and then the updates.. there are some on aminet but i think there is a more recent on on phase5.a1k.org. I had the same problem with v4 cd version. It does not see the card until the updates are installed.

Update:

I updated CGFX4 to rev 6 but had the same problems again.

Then I reinstalled 3.0 with IDEfix and PPC/060 drivers/libs and installed a clean CGFX4 installation from CD and then I updated it to rev 6 but had the same problems again!

CGFX4 installation says something about installing to RAM: I wonder if thats correct?
