scsi help
« on: July 14, 2007, 08:29:07 PM »
ok heregoes ,if i buy a dbox 1200 and a mediator  pci
can i use a adaptec 39160 scsi card with epson gt 7000
scanner and a compaq 20/40 dlt tape drive on it.
i know it not going to be fast, but if it will work that will do me.
will a Squirrel Scsi or a internal scsi for the blizzard do.
or will i have to buy something a bit quicker ,is that possible
oh by the way there is 2 18 gig scsi hard drives to add to
that.
amiga 1200 with blizzard 68030 @ 50mhz with 128 meg of ram

thank you

I'm not sure if I understand your question exactly but about the SCSI card from Adaptec; that won't work. There is no driver for that card.

There are drivers for these cards for Mediator: List of drivers

I would imagine no problems getting the scanner going on squirrel or blizzard scsi. Dunno about the dlt, Do you have software that is compatible with it.
