Wow, what nice looking machines!

If Commodore/Amiga hadn't went belly-up all those years ago, they are pretty much what the current generation "prosumer" Amigas would look like, I'd guess...

They all-in-one design still has a lot going for it...

It'd be a hoot to stick some Amiga stickers on one and have it running WinUAE, or AROS... Now there's an idea! :-)

There's a reason that all-in-one computers have not survived. This thing may look cool, but imho it's pretty much useless. There's no expandabilty, and you still need peripherals like a monitor and mouse (touchpads suck).

If you want an all-in-one computer, buy a laptop. I prefer to have a standalone case, with separate keyboard, monitor and such.

Looking inside this thing, I really wonder what the hell is supposed to fit in that PCI slot...

With Dell's laptops hitting around $500 USD, it's hard to pass such a deal up vs A500 style system.  Now if AROS had more Devs to write drivers....

It wasn't possible for Commodore to live up to todays standards with that mind.

This had already been done years ago.  I was at an Amiga Show 5 or 6 years ago and Extreme computing sold systems like these with, ta-da, Amithalon back when it first came out and was considered leagal...

It worked very very well.  I saw a demo of I think Phogenics or Aladin 4-D on it and it FLEW!!!

So yeah, if you have that nostagic feeling and are able to get Amithalon, I'd go for it.....

IE, GOOD LUCK! :-D

Its sad how Amithlon didnt work out.  Even if it was for x86 based systems, that was one that I thought was very cool and up with the times.

It would be way cool if Amithlon supported that card with Amiga custom chips (I dont remember the name) and Amithlon was OS4 x86 instead of 3.9
