I modded am IBM SCSI-3 (Ultrawide) 6-bay, hotswap rack into an external chasis. I have the hookup so you can connect it to an Amiga that accepts such a beast.
I now have things running off of a NAS (Free NAS rocks!) and don't need it any more.
What you get:
- Rack in external case
- 35 Gig. Baracuda full hight drive (takes up two slots)
- The three original IBM Drives (4.2 Gig. each)
- Cable that links the two
- Exteranl connection to install into your Amiga
- Three trays for the rack
- Standard Power Cable (if you really need it :-D )
Word to the wise. This is a home made system and worked solidly when I last used it, BUT I never got the IBM Drives to work on it right. It kept asking for a serial connection. Also, the cable connects to the Rack directly, NOT the back of the External Case. I guess I got tierd and left it as it is because it worked. And it IS NOT hot swapable.
The Baraccuda is fast and if it's on a SCSI-3 setup it rocks! I had it on my Cyberstorm and it was sweet.
If you are interested, PM me a price and I'll get back to you, but I'd kinda hope for an offer that would be worth it all.
Tankz!!!!
