C++
« on: June 28, 2007, 06:13:39 PM »
I have been using amigas since the mid eighties. I have worked as an amiga tech and done some programming in basic/assembly in the late 80's and early 90's. I have over the last couple years come back to the amiga scene, restored my equipment and would like to develope a couple programs. I would like to use C++ since that is what I have used on the PC for the last ten years. Can an experienced Amiga programmer give me some advice on Amiga C++ software packages(Storm,etc) available for use on classic hardware. I do not mind paying for software, but I would like it to be somewhat complete package capable of software developement. Thanks for any advice.

Welcome.
Try www.amigakit.com
They sell Amiga programming software.

You may also want to look at www.aros.org  An Amiga based OS that is gaining momentum.  There is also bounties for writing software for it.

www.softhut.com has been around for a while, you may want to call them first.

@amiga92570

Cubic IDE is nice.

You can also use Windows for developing Amiga Programs:
