Windows Remote Desktop connections and WinUAE?
« on: June 26, 2007, 04:13:12 PM »

I connected to my home machine via windows remote desktop to do something on my "virtual" amiga and am completely unable to use it because the mouse pointer jumps an inch at a time each direction.  It's so jumpy it's impossible to click on anything.

I've tried removing mouse acceleration, increased the sampling rate, etc, with no luck.

Anyone ever succeeded at this?

I was going to finish up partitioning my real amiga hard drive and installing SFS... it's sitting there waiting for me but I can't get the mouse to behave through remote desktop.  I tried VNC too, and the mouse works but the WinUAE screen is black!

thanks

setting 'Don't use RGB overlays' to enabled in the Host/Misc preferences section of WinUAE might solve the black screen problem in VNC
