Miami conection problem

I have a friends machine that I am working on, and it looks like Miami connects fine.  But I dont get a response on webpages.  It just waits for a reply.  Can anyone help me?

Did you set the DNS servers?
What kind of connection do you have (modem, ethernet etc)? Is it a real Amiga or Amithlon/UAE?
