Well every one can think themselves lucky they missed out on this Blizzard 2060.
I haven't rushed to say anything because I wanted to give evi73 plenty of time to make good on the $400NZD door stop that I bought off her.
I wasn't able to try it in my A2000 straight away because it didn't fit, it looked like it had been modified to fit in some sort of A2000 tower. A couple of weeks latter I managed to temporarily make room in my A2000 to get it in there only to find the 2060 completly unresposive. Luckily there is a very good Amiga repair person in the same city as me so I left it all with him to investigate.
He found the 060 apeared to be dead and that in his opinion it had been replaced in the past, a new 060 might make the board work or there could be a fault with the board that might be killing the 060's.
I then contacted evi73 to let her know. She replied that she would send me a replacement 060. I waited seven weeks and no 060 arrived, I then emailed her again and she asked me to send her my address once more so that she could send me the 060. That was probably about ten weeks ago and she hasn't replied to my last email asking if she had sent the replacement.
Ideally I'd like my money back but I realize that will never happen.
Before I bought the 2060 I read here that other members recommended her from there ebay experiences with her, maybe that's why she decided to sell it here on .org rather than get bad feed back on her ebay account for dumping it there.
I know there are two sides to every story but at the end of the day I've got a D.O.A. 2060 and a $400 hole in my bank account.
Maybe it's all got something to do with her "bad english"?
Andrew.
