hmm, running without startup-sequence, and setting for OCS, the pointer still is quite inaccurate, the pointer is in one place, and selecting aims at something quite further down from the pointer, using WinUAE. If anyone has any ideas... or I'll start a new thread so hopefully the emulator lot notice...

Try disabling the CPU caches too, it should work fine then. I don't know if it works fine with OS 3.5/3.9 SetPatch, so you can always try running it directly on bootup (no S-S directly on powerup).

Just install ScummVM and play it. The Amiga version
should work as well as the PC one.

Um, my version of Indy 4 has no graphical errors whatsoever when running on an A500, an A1200 and under WinUAE. It's not the original one though. I sold that one with a lot of other games (Which I regret I did even today...)

Anyway, the version you guys are running, is it installable to harddrive? My version installs, but doesn't run after that. Oh well, guess I'm off to buy the talkie version for PC. :(

My version installed to hard drive fine, but I had to tell UAE to be an OCS/ECS machine otherwise the screen corrupted.

Mine is HD installable, I have done so.  Running as AGA I get a massive pointer corruption.  Running as OCS (through early startup menu) the pointer is just a bit inaccurate (aim an inch above where you want to select... irritating).

I tried switching off CPU caching in UAE but no diff.  If someone doesn't have any probs, send me your UAE config file please :-)
