Whaaaaaaaaaa-aaaaaaaaaaaaaat?!?!?!?

Which dump, where?
Mac Mini G4 (1.5GHz, 64MB VRam, 1GB Ram): MorphOS 3.6
Powerbook 5.8 (15", 1.67GHz, 128MB VRam, 1GB Ram): MorphOS 3.8.

Windows-free since 2011-2014 (Damn you Netflix!)

He probably is. But not because he decided to leave, but because he lost a lot of money. You can make a pretty good price with such a system on ebay.

Oh, BTW, I have an A3000, A4000, A2500, some A2000 and A500, and an A1000, of course.

That's brutal... It was faithful to you and you just dumped it..

WHich leads me to my next few questions...

We'll see who gets there first...

Although if it is near us and I did go and get it I'd probably let u have the PPC Accelerator (for half of the petrol cost)... as much as I'd like it, I'd rather have the 4000T system and it'd only be fair to let you have something... :)

Edit:
Hmm.. I've just realised who you are.. lol... Did you ever get that cheque for those LS120 drives? I sent about 3 or 4 of them... maybe I never had your address right.. lol

Prehaps the latest OS4 saga has pushed him over the edge. He hasn't placed many posts but certainly appears angy about it in this thread of his from April 2005. The poor guy :bigcry:

No, never received them - I'd assumed you had never got around to sending them (I assume they haven't been cashed out of your account :-o ).
I (think) I got rid of the LS120s in a clear out just before I moved house in February (...quickly rummages in spares box...) yep, no more ls120s here I'm afraid.

iirc you were building an in-car PC or an in-car amiga? Did you ever get it finished?

Just looking through pha_q's previous posts he mentions Lord Lucan and Stoke City, so must live in the UK somewhere!

Damn!

PS - If I find it first you can have the a4000T ;-)
Mac Mini G4 (1.5GHz, 64MB VRam, 1GB Ram): MorphOS 3.6
Powerbook 5.8 (15", 1.67GHz, 128MB VRam, 1GB Ram): MorphOS 3.8.

Not angry, just frustrated at the time. Everything Amiga turns out to be a waste of money. Bought Amithlon, it got discontinued. Bought a Mediator, and there are about a dozen cards supported. Got a setup to run OS4, and it still hasn't been released for legacy systems.

As for dumping my system, I've tried selling it, and had nothing but clowns offering a pittance for it. I'm not shelling out thousands of pounds for someone else's benefit. As far as I'm concerned, a poor return is worse than no return.

PS. If anyone wants to go rummaging through garbage, it was dumped in Manchester.

So why not let your A4000T go to a good home instead of binning it?

I didn't know you were selling it... I either totally missed it or don't check the places that you had it up for sale.
I wouldn't have been able to offer you massive amounts of cash up-front, but I'm sure we could have worked out some pay monthly thing (Done that with a few other people on expesive hardware purchases).

Let it go to a good home? It's a computer, not a dog, you moron.

As I said above, I'm not willing to shell out thousands so that someone I don't know gets a bargain.
