I am sure I will never recoup even 1/10th the money I have spent on the collection if I ever decide to sell all of it.

Don't be so sure about that.  Prices are going up, not down.  Besides, even if you recoup 1/10th of your investment, thats 1/10th more than if you'd bought PC hardware.
Primary:
A4000T. Phase5 PPC604e-233mhz/060-66mhz. Mediator, Z3 Fastlane, Voodoo5, Delfina, X-Surf, AD516, Peggy Plus.

Collection:
A4000D, A1200, A500, Milan060 (Atari clone), Atari MegaSTE, Atari TT030, C64, C128, Mattel Aquarius, (2) HP Jornada....

So, just curious, and im tempted to post first, but just want to ready your storied...how many Amigas do you own??    Details please!!!

Any excuse to tell the world that I have just (yesterday) had a 1996 A4000T arrive.  :-D

Ok, the list
A500 (KS1.3 4meg fast 1meg chip, A590, A570 (Not at the same time), Vector 570 SCSI, A520, downclocker card (think action replay knockoff, video master capture card and a few other minor bits and bobs)

A second A500 (ks1.3, A501)
A500+ (Original, seal still intact)
A600 (ks3.1, 560meg hdd and a dead viper630)

A1000 (512kb chip, ks1.1-1.3 with keyboard, shield still fixed in place, looks like its never been removed)
Spare A1000 motherboard, missing top module otherwise may work.

A1200 (ks3.0, Apollo 1240, 32meg fast, 2.1gig hdd, Archos Overdrive external harddrive, vidi capture box and more)
deaded A1200 (bought for keyboard as the one in the above unit was failing, motherboard has a fault (gonna strip it for parts anyhow) includes case and bits)

A2000 (ks2.04, first German version based on the A1000, 512kb chip ram, unupgradable, A2630 030 card (4meg), A2632 (fully loaded with 112Meg) buddha flash ide, slot loading cd, 120meg hdd, two floppy drives (one not working, dunno why) strange SCSI/parallel/serial/rs422, A2090 (none autobooting) and A2300 genlock, was new in box.)

Spare A2000 motherboard, missing all chips. (scrap tbh)

A3000 (ks3.1, os3.9. 030 @ 25mhz, 8up ram card @ 4meg, buddha IDE, 525meg scsi hdd, 4meg on board (total 8) with lithium cell hack)

A4000D (ks3.1, 16meg fast ram, 120meg hdd, A3640, temperamental little thing, total hit or miss if it works.. circuitboard damage, gotta sort it out.

A4000DT (ks3.1 os3.9, A3640 (Dead cyberstorm ppc 060/ppc 233), IOBlix with ethernet module, GVP Spectrum, Emplant, Power flyer 4000, Prometheus card (not actally fitted at the moment) 5gig hdd, scsi DVD Ram drive, scsi Yamaha CDRW, SCSI 5 disk 16x CD multichanger.)

A4000T (Arrived yesterday, ks3.1 os3.5 or 3.9 (ive only ran it an hour, anyhow it will get 3.9 and I will downgrade my A3K to 3.5)  A3640 card, 16meg fast, scsi cd drive, scsi 1gig hdd otherwise as standard except missing front door, scratched case and blown ide... floppy seems a bit funny too)

4x A4000T blank boards and 1x blank A3640 card.

CD32 (with TVR (?) modem and remote otherwise standard)
CD32 (Standard but seems to have a faulty cd drive.. only recently happened)

CDTV (Elbox ram card with keyboard, remote, mouse and floppy drive &  Das-Vector port board)
CDTV (Original with floppy drive, mouse & remote)
CDTV (ks3.1, 520meg hdd scsi, Amitrix SCSI-TV, CD1300(1? bahh) genlock, Prototype CDTV 68000 upgrade made by Phase5, 2x 64kb memory cards for front slot, keyboard, remote, floppy, IR tracker ball, brick-ette mouse adaptor, new proms, cdtv mouse... and loads of other stuff)
Prototype CDTV (with flash board, property of Commodore sticker, FULL paperwork (a large box full) on the CDTV including manufacturing info and PCB layout.. has a nice IR module rework, uses a CPU with bits in the socket.)
Spare CDTV motherboard.. may work tbh, if I stop nicking chips off it. :D

CDTV CR prototype (one of 6 known to exist, new custom chipset called grace and beauty, space for FMV mpeg decoder.. currently gets stuck in a reset loop, may also have a dieing psu, will look at it soon)

Index Access (Just the board, faulty, gets stuck when loading kickstart.... I need a logic analyzer dam it ;-) )

Draco, faulty, ram controller chip suspect, again will fix when I have time.. if I can, very interesting board though.

Thats it for now, I need to wait for my finances to recover a bit then its time to upgrade the A4000T.

I have a load of other Zorro cards, A2088's, two faulty picasso IV's, old z2 ram cards, etc.

Then there is the software collection... but you didnt ask for that and I aint counting or listing them :P

Oh and excluding the A4000T I have service manuals for all of them and a few others.

Am I a Die-Hard Amiga user? yeah I think I am.

Well... I should have about 10 "babies":

A500 Plus - A590 - 4MB (my first Amiga and my main machine up to 1999...)
A1000 512kb
A1200 C= (was 060, now waiting for 030/50)
A1200 AT
A1200HD AT (170MB)
A2000 020/16 12MB and other stuff
A3000 060/50 - 128MB - CV64 - Ariadne - Toccata - Catweasel II (my actual main Amiga)
CDTV (my third Amiga, used in mid '90s as CD-ROM drive for A500+ through ParNet/ProNet)
CD32 (my second Amiga)

C64 (my really first computer!)
C128D

... and a lot of spare parts such as mainboards, floppy drives, PSU, mouses, keyboards, about 100 custom chips and so on.
Everything is in excellent-mint conditions.

My Amigas will live forever!!!  :-)
Alex
A1000 - A2000 (020/16) - A3000 (060/50) - A500 - A500+ - A600 - A1200 (030/50) - CDTV - CD32

Can't believe how many Amigas some of you have. Wow. I have a lowly 3:

1. Micro A1 - everyday Amiga
2. A2500/060/PIV/Delphina/Subway/X-Surf - use this for mp3s
3. A3000D - this is pretty much stock - looking for a cpu upgrade. From this thread I know where all of the accelerators are!

I have:

4 x A500, I like to solder and make hardware hacks with one. Probably going to sell them when I am bored.

1 x A1200, BPPC/Bvision + lots of extras

1 x A2000, 030/6MB Picasso2, Buddha

Incoming:

A4000D, CybervisionPPC+CyberstormPPC

------

Its always good to have a couple of Amigas around if you like the system.
