Problem w/ snapshot function
« on: June 09, 2007, 08:26:35 PM »
This is a minor problem but I was wondering if anyone else had experienced it or knows how to fix it?

I have 5 disks (3 SCSI, 2 ATA) in my Amiga, split into 10 partitions.  Folders in two of the partitions (including the root) cannot be snapshot for some reason.  All the other folders can be snapshot, no problem.  Is this a software problem or a problem with the disk or a config/cache issue?

Primary:
A4000T. Phase5 PPC604e-233mhz/060-66mhz. Mediator, Z3 Fastlane, Voodoo5, Delfina, X-Surf, AD516, Peggy Plus.

Collection:
A4000D, A1200, A500, Milan060 (Atari clone), Atari MegaSTE, Atari TT030, C64, C128, Mattel Aquarius, (2) HP Jornada....

Make sure the folders have matching .info files.

"Unsnapshot" before "snapshot" sometimes fixes it.

every HD drive/partition has a disk.info file in it's root. I bet the ones u can't snapshot don't have the disk.info file... copy it from another partition, arrange them the way u like and then snapshot!  :-)
