For sale

Pegasos II mainboard with 600 MHz CPU module 200 euros
512 MB DDR400 DIMM memory +30 euros
AOpen 340A black low-profile case with PSU, radeon 7000, 1.7 GB (old) HDD, floppy and Liteon DL DVD+-RW +70 euros

Shipping from Finland with insurance is probably between 15..60 euros depending on weight, destination and type of shipping service. (Cheaper without the case and drives)

what are the options of upgrading the cpu to g4/1ghz? If I like it I consider it, is there a place selling these cards? are they custom?

There was only a limited offer to get G4 cpu modules. Now you have to try to get such a card by second hand but its hard to find one.

If you send an email to Genesi you may get lucky. they do get them in from time to time or can locate one for you. Its worth a try at least.

I will try... after I receive it and test it that is... because there is always the chance that I don't bother with it much...
speedwise, is there something that will benefit from the G4? ofcourse there is perfomance gap but in real usage is there anything that struggles in the G3? how e-uae perfoms on the G3?
I am not planning to do anything heavy like 3D rendering or video editing...

MOS 1.5 was said to have altivec support, 3 years ago. Now I think altivec will still be around when MOS 2.0 gets released.
Altivec will creatly enhance everything that uses vector operations like Mplayer, Mencoder etc. Also Atlivec was the only reason that OS 4 was constantly higher than MOS in the DC-net stats...
