This should be all you need :

We at a1k.org put all updates toghether and upped them to Aminet.
Do those two archived files automatically install all the latest files and programs that AmiKit provides? Do they also have the cool new icons and backdrops to make Workbench beautiful?
I have to tell you that I am very impressed with the work that AmiKit has done and the huge amount of cooperation Jan has been successful in getting from developers who have updated programs and provided them just for AmiKit.
Looks aren't everything, but being the creatively challenged person that I am, I love having those backdrops, icons and other visual improvements all configured and installed for me with just one click. IMHO AmiKit rivals any modern desktop appearance and in many ways functionality and makes me want to use AmigaOS more.
Anything that makes people WANT to use AmigaOS MORE gets my highest praise (and some of my money). To top it all off, it is still actively being worked on and improved and has an automatic upgrade option.
Can't say enough good about AmiKit, but maybe the rest of you reading this have been better and more active at installing most of what AmiKit provides on your own Amigas already, so this is no big deal for you.
