PPC/Warpup help
« on: June 05, 2007, 10:53:08 PM »
Hi
I just got a blizzard ppc card for my 1200 and could do with a bit of help.

I installed warpup aswell as the ppclib emu,now when i boot my amiga i get a warning request telling me that the ppc.lib has been detected so it cant load warpup.

What would i have to do to solve this? i have just upgraded from a 1260 so is there anything i should remove also??
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks

The Blizzard has the "original" ppc.library (not the emulation) in its flash ROM. You have to install BPPCfix to remove it, otherwise WarpOS won't work.

Hi
Last night before you gave me that link i had already tried to install the "Bppcfix" but i wrote the command wrong in the startup-sequence.

So when i went to boot the system it said something like,Bppcfix unknown command,i think.

So i erased the Bppcfix file from the C drawer but i still get the same msg.

Could someone type out the actual command i am supposed to write in my startup-sequence so i can just copy it over.
Would be a great help.
Thanks in advance.

It is the first command in my startup-sequence:

C:BPPCFix install >NIL:

First copy BPPCFix to C:

Good luck

If you type the command in a shell:

c:BPPCFix

Is it found ?
