WTB: Original Amiga 600/1200 style mouse
« on: June 03, 2007, 10:34:15 AM »
I'm looking for a 600/1200 style curved mouse, as in this pic: http://www.oldsoftware.com/softimg9/a-mouse2.jpg

Ideally in as close to mint condition as possible (I know there was a seller offering multiple mint Amiga mice on Ebay not too long ago, maybe someone bought one more than they need?).

Many thanks :)

Hmmm I bought my amiga 1200 brand new in the 90s and it came with this mouse:

Amiga 1200 030/50mhz 64MB Fast Ram 20GB HD
DTCV, S-Video hack, 1084S-D1, PCMCIA Wireless

One of those will do fine as well, as far as I'm aware the type in the picture I originally posted was the later "type 2" mouse that came with the 600.

Basically I'm after any original Amiga mouse, even a tank-type beast would suffice as long as the button switches are working well and it's not drastically yellowed.

Ummm...

Have you emailed OldSoftware.com?  I poked around their site last night and they are selling those for somewhere in the $30 something range....

@vic20owner

Yep,

That's the same mouse that came with my original A600...

Thanks for the replies

I did have a look on oldsoftware.com but as I'm in the UK the total cost would come to around £30 which is a bit pricy.

Cheers for the Amigadeals link Gav  :-)
