What about the 20 questions with Bill McEwen?
« on: May 28, 2007, 04:12:09 AM »
I remember reading a few weeks back that Bill is interested in doing another 20 questions.

What ever happened to that. I think now would be a great time to ask questions and hear some answers.

Thanks,
S

Why do we need 20 questions.  All I want is just a few good answers and unfortunately those wont come from Bill MC.

You don't need 20 questions...

Q:What is going on with Amiga Inc atm?
A:We're going to into exciting wireless development platform areas

Q:No seriously, what's going on with Amiga Inc atm?
A:Well we're currently in the process of winning several high profile lawsuits that will allow Amiga Inc to expand it's operations and

Q:NO, SERIOUSLY, what's going on with Amiga Inc atm?
A:Nothing.

Q:Zilch?
A:Yep

Q:So when's Amiga OS4 coming?
A:We've set a preliminary date of the 15th of June.

Q:So never right?
A:Bingo

Thanks for coming Bill.

Uh, actually the majority of the poll voters wanted the 20 questions to be asked.

sdyates,

What 20 questions would you ask that haven't already been answered by the court documents?

That was before the new amiga announcements and the court case was revealed.
IMHO asking any questions before the court case is settled is even more pointless than usual.

What happened? Yes, the poll indicated that a majority wanted another 20 questions session with Bill McEwen. So, you were not paying attenion. Were you?
Right after that, there was the announcement of the announcement of new hardware. Which was announced over the course of two weeks. A week after that Amiga, Inc. files suit against Hyperion.
What questions would you think be asked? Ask about the hardware? That probably is stalled til after the lawsuit is settled. The rest or majority would be about the lawsuit, I'm sure. Those just would not get answered. Everyone should know that. So, What is there to ask that isn't about the supposed new hardware or related to the lawsuit? Uh, not much. Hey, what's up with Amiga Dev India? That might generate some fluff, but not enought for 20 questions.
Besides, just read over the court documents in the Amiga, Inc. vs. Hyperion Entertainment case. Lots of answers there and tidbits we never even knew about. Til the lawsuit is over there really is not much point. Besides, those court documents could generate many more questions themselves, not to mention the out come of the case. Like, were do we go from here (where ever that is)?

I still want to hear from Wayne himself on this matter.. I think we should get an answer as to why the poll was pulled before it ended. I dont think it is nice to just pull it without even telling us why.

Bills lawyers arent going to let him answer 20 questions until they have won the lawsuit, after the Oral Arguements tomorrow, we might have an idea how long its going to take, and we'll likely get a new 20 questions after the case is over.

I don't know anyting about the poll. You can PM Wayne if you need an immediate responce.
Though we really do have quite abit of info and excitment flowing with the lawsuit. Tomorrow should be interesting no matter the outcome. Probably will not be the end of it yet.
