Impossible or Not ? 'Bout to give up :-S
« on: May 26, 2007, 06:25:20 PM »
Ok... Probaly I won't give up... But can't find how to solve this last
issues with my OS3.5 Install under E-UAE ... That just won't work.!

My problems are still.:

1. Sometimes it has an error, where it can't find xad.library
2. I can't run any .lha files eventhough I have succesfully installed lha.run
3. Sometimes it has an error, 'bout the scsi.device
4. It says Unknown Command when using Lha X

It looks so nice my 3.5 ... But it just won't let me handle those last problems.
Anythin else is ok i Guess... I can go online and so ... :-S DAMN... I want it
to work :'( ... Untill now a big THX to Motorolin and Framiga for there help..!

Yes it is possible. Did you install while booted from the Emergency Disk?

@TheMud

You have to actually run the lha.run file, so it unarcs a LHA executable. This is the one that needs to be installed in C:, not lha.run.

As for the library problem, it should be enough just to copy the libraries over from the OS3.5 CD.

Ok, I don't know much about UAE but I'll try to help you.

1. If it's trying to find xad.library, have you tried installing xadmaster (on Aminet)?

2. What happens when you un-lha an lha file, and what syntax are you using to do it?

3. UAE doesn't use scsi.device. Try changing the software/mountlist so it uses uaescsi.device instead.

4. See number 2 - can you confirm what syntax you're using?

I can now use lha somefile.lha AmigaOS-HDD:

That works ... *S* ... But at the moment I'm under 3.1 ... Maybe I'll
stay there *S* ... There everything works... Now... *S* *Yahoo*

I'll make a second Hdd and try 3.5 again ... But think it works now... Maybe...
Dunno... But hope :-P

Thanx Guys !
